Infection Prevention and Control – Information for Carers
If you care for a family member, friend or someone who needs support at home, good infection prevention and control can help protect both you and the person you care for.
Simple measures such as regular handwashing, good respiratory hygiene, appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe handling of laundry and waste, and keeping frequently touched surfaces and equipment clean can all help reduce the spread of infection.
