REGARDING SHEPPEY HEALTHY LIVING CENTRE

WITH REGARDS TO THE REDEVELOPMENT OF THE SHEPPEY LEISURE COMPLEX, THE SURGERY WITHIN THE CENTRE IS INCLUDED IN THIS DEVELOPMENT

TO ALLOW FOR THE WORKS TO TAKE PLACE THE SURGERY WILL NEED TO CLOSE FOR APPROXIMATLEY 12 MONTHS 

FROM 23RD DECEMBER THE SURGERY WILL BE CLOSED

PROVISIONS ARE BEING PUT IN PLACE SO THAT PATIENTS WILL HAVE ACCESS TO CLINICAL SERVICES DURING THIS PERIOD

WE WILL KEEP PATIENTS UPDATED IN DUE COURSE

Welcome to Sheppey Healthy Living Centre

If you wish to register at our practice you can do it through our website, come into the practice, or email kmicb.minstermedical@nhs.net 

We have two locations on the Isle of Sheppey. As a registered patient you can use either site.

Minster Medical Centre is next door to the community Hospital. We have ample free parking and are on a good bus route. 

Sheppey Healthy Living Centre is above the sports Centre in Sheerness. There is pay and display parking.

Please note Sheppey Healthy Living Centre is closed on a Friday afternoon from 13:00. Please note that the telephone lines are still open and Minster Medical Centre will still be open. 

In June 2024 we had 114 wasted appointments through people not turning up for their appointments. 

This breaks down to over 19 hours of nursing time, 10 hours of GP time and over 5 hours with other clinical staff. 

In June 18 or those 114 patients had previously failed to attend appointments 3 or more times.
